The Lenawee College Access Network Employability Team develops methods to prepare individuals to enter the workforce.
This team is concentrated on developing strategies to better prepare residents with resume writing and interviewing skills. They also focus on the development of “Soft Skills” or “Self-Managing Behaviors.” They study and research trends in the job market. They evaluate what employers are hiring and the required skills and education needed for the positions. Career exploration/job shadowing and internships are an area of concentration. They are applying their focus on aligning the network with our local businesses, industries, and trades.
